New surf and swimwear collection
Our Inspiration
Our new collection is inspired by our unconditional love of water and travel. While Tiina spends most of her free time on the Indian Ocean in Bali, Yvi had the opportunity to spend several weeks in French Polynesia last year. The proximity to the sea - that's where our ideas flow and where we get our inspiration. With our new swimwear and accessories collection, we want to bring these tropical feelings to your home.
Performance, style and comfort
We've packed performance, style and comfort into our swimwear and surfwear. All pieces are made from high-quality fabrics that are exceptionally soft and durable and offer excellent UPF50+ sun protection. The thoughtful designs with minimal seams make this collection super comfortable and flattering for every body type. The entire collection is made from sustainable fabrics. These fabrics are made from recycled materials such as plastic bottles and other waste reclaimed from the ocean. Plus, we continue to donate 1% of all online sales to Healthy Seas to protect what we love most.
Swimwear has never felt so good.
What's new?
New designs
We have worked on some new designs and improved existing styles. We take our customers' feedback very seriously and always try to incorporate opinions and suggestions for improvement. So a big thank you to everyone who has sent us positive, but also critical, feedback. We appreciate every vote.
size determination
We have changed our sizes a little for this year's collection. All of our pieces are now a little larger than before. You can find the exact measurements in our fit and size guide on our website. If you are unsure about the size, don't hesitate to send us a message, we will be happy to help you.
Artist Collection
collaboration with Joan Bergman
We are very excited to present our very first Artist Collection this year. We were able to collaborate with the wonderful Joan Bergmans. Joan is a Dutch artist and art teacher inspired by the sea. She offers custom illustrations, digital design, unique prints, workshops and creative collaborations. You can find out more about her and her work on her website .
Protect (y)our playground
Joan created this beautiful, yet thought-provoking design for us, featuring dolphins swimming through plastic waste, to raise awareness of the immense pollution and the danger to marine life.
Plastic pollution in our oceans is a serious problem that we need to address because it is not going to go away on its own. Everyone can reduce plastic use and every step towards a plastic-free environment counts, no matter how big the impact. Please help keep our environment clean, reduce plastic, pick up trash and recycle. Nature will thank you.
price war
Our goal is and always has been to develop sustainable, high-quality products that are also fairly priced. We want affordable products for the vast majority, even if this reduces our margin.
Over the last few years, it has become increasingly difficult to keep sales prices at the same level. The materials became more expensive, the producers increased their prices, shipping became more expensive. In other words, all the means that lead to the finished product. The Covid period was financially difficult for us. We could hardly travel anymore and, as we know, the Swiss summer unfortunately doesn't last very long. We couldn't go to the swimming pools for a long time either. And who needs a new bikini anyway?
Since production prices have unfortunately increased even further, we are now forced to raise the prices for next year's collection. The pressure has simply become too great. However, we are trying to raise prices as little as possible so that our products are still sold at fair prices. We hope for your understanding.
Thank you ♥
The Salty Collection will be launched in the spring. We hope you enjoy our new sustainable swim collection. Thank you so much for all your love and support for us and our small business. We appreciate each and every one of you so much.
We wish you a wonderful, flowery and sunny spring and summer with many happy moments.
All the best from the MAIN team,
Tiina and Yvi
