General Terms and Conditions

1. General

These General Terms and Conditions apply to orders placed via the online shop of:

By placing an order, you accept the General Terms and Conditions valid at the time of the order.

MAIN Design GmbH reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time. For an order, the version valid at the time of placing the order shall apply.

2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in our online shop constitutes an invitation to order.

Before submitting your order, you can review and, if necessary, correct your details.

After completing the order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation by email.

Should an ordered item exceptionally no longer be available, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund any amount already paid for the unavailable item.

3. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in the corresponding available currency depending on the selected country or location.

For orders within Switzerland, billing will be in Swiss Francs (CHF).

Any shipping costs will be shown in the checkout before the order is completed.

You can pay with credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, TWINT, Klarna, or bank transfer. Depending on the order and country, other payment methods may be available at checkout.

For payment by bank transfer, the order will be processed after receipt of payment.

4. Shipping within Switzerland

We ship your order with the Swiss Post.

Smaller orders with one to two items are usually sent as A-Post letters. Larger orders are sent as a package or small goods shipment.

Shipping within Switzerland is free for orders over CHF 150.–.

For orders under CHF 150.–, shipping is CHF 5.90.

The stated delivery times are approximate. During sales, holidays, or exceptionally high order volumes, processing or delivery may be delayed.

For orders shipped as a package with tracking, you will receive a tracking number. Standard A-Post letters do not have tracking.

Please check your delivery address carefully before completing the order. Additional costs incurred due to an incorrect address provided by you may be charged to you.

5. International Shipping

Orders outside Switzerland are currently possible upon request.

Please contact us at info@maindesign.ch for this.

Shipping costs depend on the destination country and shipping method.

Any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees are not included in the sales price and shall be borne by the recipient.

6. Returns and Exchanges

We voluntarily grant you the option to return suitable items within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please first register your return via your customer profile.

If you would like an exchange or store credit, please also email us at info@maindesign.ch.

The cost of return shipping to us will be borne by you.

The responsibility for shipping remains with you until the return has reached us. We therefore recommend retaining appropriate proof of shipment.

7. Conditions for Returns

Returned items must be in their original condition.

This means, in particular:

unworn and unused
unwashed
clean and undamaged
with all original tags
for swimwear, with the hygiene sticker intact

When trying on bikini bottoms and swimsuits, please wear your underwear for hygienic reasons.

Items that do not meet these conditions cannot be accepted for return.

8. Sale Items

Reduced items can generally be returned according to our normal return policy.

Items reduced by more than 50% are considered final sale and are excluded from returns and exchanges.

This does not apply to legitimate claims due to a product or manufacturing defect.

9. Your Options for a Return

Store Credit

You can receive the value of your return as store credit.

As a thank you, you will also receive CHF 5.– bonus credit.

Exchange

If you would like a different size, color, or model, please email us at info@maindesign.ch.

Once your return has arrived and been inspected, we will send you the desired replacement item, if available.

We will cover the shipping costs for the first exchange item.

The return of the original item to us is at your expense.

Refund

If you choose a refund, the value of the returned items will be refunded to the original payment method.

Shipping costs already paid will not be refunded.

For a complete return of an order, we charge a processing fee of CHF 5.–.

This processing fee does not apply to size exchanges or partial returns.

10. Defective or Damaged Delivery

Please check your order upon receipt.

If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us as soon as possible at info@maindesign.ch and send us your order number and a photo of the item in question.

We will review the case and find a suitable solution together.

This regulation does not limit your statutory rights regarding defective goods.

11. Warranty and Defects

We place great importance on the quality of our products.

Should a product have a material or manufacturing defect, please contact us at info@maindesign.ch.

Normal wear and tear, as well as damage caused by improper care, heavy use, or contact with rough surfaces, are not considered material or manufacturing defects.

This includes, for example, damage caused by rough pool surfaces such as PebbleTec, concrete, or rough tiles.

The statutory warranty provisions remain reserved.

12. Product Representation

We strive to represent colors, materials, and products as realistically as possible.

However, depending on the screen and device settings, colors may differ slightly from the actual representation.

For handmade products, minor deviations may also occur, which do not constitute a product defect.

13. Liability

MAIN Design GmbH is liable to the extent provided by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we assume no liability for damages caused by improper use or care of our products.

14. Data Protection

Information on how we process personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

15. Applicable Law

These General Terms and Conditions and the contractual relationship between you and MAIN Design GmbH are governed by Swiss law.
