Sarong Bali
Description
The sarong, also known as a wrap, is a universal all-rounder and a perfect accessory for the beach. It is made and dyed by hand in Bali and is made from 100% viscose, a fiber made from renewable resources. Despite its fineness, the fabric is light, soft and absorbent. In addition, it dries very quickly.
A sarong can be used in many ways, for example as a beach dress, wrap skirt, scarf, headscarf or bath towel. It is a practical companion on the beach, but also at home, in the garden, at the lake or in the sauna. The sarong can be washed at 30 degrees with similar colors and hung to dry.
Buying a sarong supports small craft businesses and their families in Bali. Each cloth is unique and may therefore vary slightly in color and size. The difference between a pareo and a sarong lies primarily in their origin. The pareo comes from the west, from the Cook Islands or Tahiti. The sarong comes from the East, more precisely from South Asia. Otherwise, both beach accessories are worn like wrap skirts or simply to lie down and enjoy.
