I grew up in Switzerland and have always appreciated the natural beauty of Switzerland. And yet – I wasn’t able to find the same blissed out feeling as when I finally found the big blue. For over 10 years now I have been travelling back’ n’ forth from Indonesia to enjoy the sun, sand and most importantly the surf. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many creative individuals in all areas of my life, – whether that be in design, photography, surfing or friendship.
My vision for the future is to be able to visually tell timeless stories through my photography. Stories that evoke emotion, reactions and hopefully act as inspiration for others! I also need to constantly satisfy my eagerness to learn, to improve my photography and mostly just to have fun with what I’m doing. Settling down also sounds wonderful – but not quite within reach yet.
Sabrina was one of the co-founders of MAIN and has helped to build up this brand since the early stage. 2018 she decided to focus on her rad projects, which we totally understand, but she will always be here for us. We are so blessed to have you in our crew!
I am Livia, I grew up in Switzerland and I’m a passionate surfer. I rode my first wave while traveling in Hawaii. Instantly, I knew, that this passion won’t be short-term. Vitamine D, sand, beach and surrounded by water, amazing! From then on, all my vacations were surf trips. With the opening of the Oana in Lucerne, my landlocked surf career began. I found the perfect addition to ocean surfing. After every session, I feel happy and completed. In 2020, I started competing at the Swiss Championships in Wavepool surfing. I even got on the podium. In 2021 I won. As a proud mom, surfing is the perfect addition to my daily routine and I can share these moments with my daughter.
Being born and raised in Switzerland, I started surfing on a river at the age of sixteen. After many trips, I started to attend surf events and later competed in national and international contests, with the support of a global surf brand. I’m still deeply thankful to have been given this opportunity.
But during these years I struggled to fit in to the scene of competitive surfing. I started to reject deals bounded by contract, and moved back towards my love of surfing.
Against all odds, I started my own business a few years ago and now I live the digital nomad life. Choices made with the heart last longer. Just like the friendships I made, through countless adventures. And my deep love for big blue.
This is where I am now. Happy being part of a creative, inspiring community. <3
Anna is originally from Switzerland and has been chasing waves all over the world since 2011. As an early riser, she loves to get up before sunrise, meditate, enjoy a black coffee and some quiet reading time before heading out to surf. When she’s not in the water, she’s working on creative projects, with writing and conceptualizing being two of her other passions.

I grew up on a 100 acre farm (Northern NSW Australia), 30km from ocean! At the age of 7, I began surfing on a body board with my twin sister and eventually progressed to a surf board! Only once I moved out of home to the ocean, did I begin surfing regularly. This is where my love and obsession of the ocean, waves and nature started!
From 2000–2006 I took on the contest director’s role at the amazing all girls surfriding club in Lennox Head and 2007 became President of the Club.
In 2008 the time came to move to Switzerland and explore more of Europe and hang with the Swiss family! I have since adapted and taken on new sports especially skiing, wake surfing, biking, and more importantly joined the Swiss surfing community. Currently I am living in Verbier and working in Lausanne where I am training and preparing for the next surf trip, whereever that may be in the world.
This is Silvia, originally from the Mediterranean Coast of Spain, currently a bit of a nomad around the world. I studied industrial design engineering, but soon was able to combine my passion with my career focusing on coastal management and researching, creating environmental and social awareness, helping on a healthier symbiosis relationship between our planet and us. I have been surfing for over ten years, used to be a love & hate relationship, now its just love and fun, no expectations. Now I am also in the entrepreneurship adventure, with the creation of a surf travel agency, The Ocean Spell, specialising in epic surf coaching and yoga trips throughout the world, also offering trips for only women and family friendly trips.

The wine a cheese lover was born and raised in Ticino, in the south italian part of Switzerland. She grew up in the digital world of media design until she realised that sunshine and vitamine D was a healthy add on to her nerdy lifestyle.
After her Masters in Digital Media Management in the cold and rainy weather of Manchester, she picked up a camera and joined her friend Sina Candrian up the mountains. At that time, Nicki gave birth to Reverse which thrived to become her portfolio gathering experiences, stories and images.
During one of her exotic adventures, the Main team crossed drinks with Nicki and the love story began: bikinis, photography, surfing, Espresso Martinis…
We had it all and since that day we will forever be able to count on her support.
I discovered my passion for surfing in Bali on 2016, where I studied architecture for a semester. I have been back many times since and the waves now carry me through life, creating the perfect rhythm.
I do water color artwork, illustration and graphic design and I’m passionate about sustainable architecture, a topic I just finished my master thesis in. The feeling of freedom on the water inspires my art work most and it is my dream to make a full-time income out of it.
I grew up in Austria and now live between there and New Zealand’s Surf Highway 45 – surfing, skating and snowboarding whenever I have time. I love sharing good vibes and my days are always too short to do all the things I love.
Riding a smooth wave, connecting with nature and drifting around in tropical water still lights me up like nothing else does. Aquatic strangers became lifelong friends, faraway places became a second home and that annoying longboarder in the lineup became my life partner. The ocean has educated me, it shaped me to who I’m today. Surfing is a physical, mental and spiritual challenge all in one. As an artist, a mom and a surfer I hope to inspire people to enjoy and take care of our playground.
I’m Maria Kuzma and I’m a professional snowboarder, architectural activist and keen surfer! I spend my northern hemisphere winters chasing snow storms and the rest of the year I surf and work remotely from Bali on my sustainable architecture projects which are currently in Brazil and New York. I live a plant based life and make sure to surround myself with smart, strong women that push me to my limits in regards to my sport my thinking and my actions ❤❤❤ M

Since 6 years, I have been working project based, so I can spend every year a few months on the island to follow my biggest addiction. I just try to be as most in the water, without any expectations, as I can be. Enjoying life as much as I can and being grateful for what I have.
I’m from Switzerland. At some point, I realized I wanted my own work-life balance. Since 6 years, I have been working project based, so I can spend every year a few months on the island to follow my biggest addiction. My first surf experience was in Puerto Rico when I was 6 years old. That was the beginning of my love for surfing. Since then, I try to surf as much as possible, be it on river waves, artificial waves or most loved of all waves, in the ocean.
I love gliding through the water with my surfboard, love traveling, getting to know other countries and their cultures and meeting other surfers. Free surfing is my passion, but I also like surfing contests. I was Swiss Surfing Champion 2022 in the Junior Girls division and also won the Edelweiss Surf Tour in the Juniors and Women division that same year. I was also able to participate at the Junior World Championship in El Salvador.
I am happy to be a part of MAIN Design. I really like their beautiful surf wear that stays put while surfing.
